Tremron Driveway & Pavers: The Riverside Owner’s Guide
We stock and install Tremron-compatible driveway pavers and paver components for Riverside homeowners, with most paver driveway repairs and replacements running $7,000 – $18,000 installed. If your Tremron driveway is shifting, sinking, or showing cracked pavers after a few Riverside summers, we can usually source the exact match and have it repaired faster than waiting on a big-box special order. Most owners find us after they notice a low spot pooling water by the garage, or a paver that suddenly sits proud of its neighbors and catches the toe of a shoe.
Penhallow Remodeling Riverside is an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with Tremron, but we work with their product lines regularly because Tremron pavers hold up well in Riverside’s dry heat and occasional heavy storm runoff.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Tremron manufactures a wide range of concrete pavers sold across Southern California, and we see several lines frequently on Riverside driveways: the Tremron Stonecrest, Tremron Mega Olde Town, Tremron Costa, and Tremron Holland stone series. Each has a different joint width, thickness, and color blend, which matters when you’re adding to an existing driveway or replacing a section. A Stonecrest paver is not interchangeable with a Costa paver, even if they look close at a glance. The pattern repeat is different, and the edge profile won’t seat correctly.
If you’re trying to identify what you have, flip over a full paver and look for the Tremron stamp on the underside. Take a photo of the stamp and measure the paver’s length, width, and thickness in inches. The thickness is the critical number: most Tremron driveway pavers are 60mm or 80mm, but some decorative walkway lines drop to 40mm, and a 40mm paver won’t survive vehicle traffic. For most Riverside driveways, we recommend the 80mm thickness, which handles the weight of SUVs, trucks, and the occasional delivery van without cracking at the corner.
On the OEM-versus-aftermarket question: Tremron pavers are concrete units, not proprietary hardware. Quality aftermarket equivalents from Belgard or Angelus can match a Tremron color closely enough for a repair, but the color won’t be exact after a few years of sun. Tremron’s color blends are batch-specific. If you need a seamless patch, we source from Tremron’s current stock. If you’re redoing a section and don’t mind a slight tonal shift, a Belgard equivalent can save real money. We’ll tell you which is which before you spend a dollar.

Signs Your Tremron Driveway & Pavers Are Failing
- Pooling water that sits for more than an hour after rain. Riverside gets heavy but infrequent downpours, and a paver driveway that isn’t draining is telling you the base layer is compacting unevenly or the sand joints have washed out. Water that sits finds its way under the pavers and accelerates everything else.
- Pavers rocking underfoot or shifting when you drive over them. A single wobbly paver usually means the joint sand is gone and the paver has lost lateral support. Several wobbly pavers in one area means the base has stopped bearing weight evenly.
- Cracks running through multiple pavers in a line. This is the classic Riverside signature of a base that flexes with temperature swings. One cracked paver might be a bad unit. A line of cracked pavers means the subgrade below is moving, and replacing just the paver tops will fail again.
- Sand washing out of the joints after every rain. You’ll see little sand fans on the driveway surface and along the edges. Once the joint sand goes, pavers drift apart, and the interlock that makes a paver driveway strong starts to disappear.
- Sunken depressions near the garage apron or along the curb. These are almost always a failed base, not a failed paver. The pavers are just following the ground down. In Riverside’s older neighborhoods, we frequently see this where tree roots from the parkway have disrupted the base.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

Paver driveway installation in Riverside typically runs $7,000 – $18,000 depending on the size of the driveway, the thickness of the pavers, and what we find when we pull the old surface up. Paver patio work sits in a $3,500 – $11,000 range. If the existing base is sound, a repair might cost less than $1,000 for a few square feet of matched pavers and re-sanding. If the base is shot, we’re rebuilding it, and that’s a different number.
Every price we quote is written and locked before we start. That’s the Kingswell Way, and it applies to a three-paver patch or a full driveway rebuild. You’ll know the paver cost, the base cost, the sand cost, and the labor as separate line items, and the number on your written quote is the number on the final invoice. If anything changes once we open the ground up, we stop and walk you through it before we spend another dollar.
The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to this work. If anything we install settles, shifts, or cracks within a year, we come back and fix it at no charge. No service call, no re-inspection fee. Just a crew that shows up and makes it right.
DIY or Call Us?
Replacing a single cracked Tremron paver is a weekend project most Riverside homeowners can handle. You pry the broken paver out with a flat bar, reset it in fresh joint sand, and tap it level with a rubber mallet. It’s sweat work, but it’s not dangerous. The risk comes when you have more than two or three damaged pavers, or when you see the signs of base failure we listed above. A failing base means lifting hundreds of pavers, removing and compacting new aggregate, and re-setting every unit to an even grade. That’s not a YouTube-able afternoon job.
If you’re uncertain whether it’s a paver problem or a base problem, call us at (341) 895-1170. We’ll look at it, tell you what we’d do in your shoes, and give you a written number for the repair. You’re not obligated to take it.
FAQs

Properly installed Tremron pavers last 25 to 40 years on a Riverside driveway, with the concrete units themselves rarely being the failure point. What fails first in our climate is the base and the joint sand, which is why we spend more time on compaction and edge restraint than on the pavers themselves. Call (341) 895-1170 if your driveway is showing age before the 20-year mark, and we’ll tell you whether it’s a repair or a rebuild.
Individual damaged Tremron pavers can absolutely be repaired, often for under $1,000 if the base underneath is still sound. The deciding factor is what’s underneath the pavers, not the pavers themselves. If the base is compacted and draining, a paver swap fixes the problem. If the base has failed, patching pavers just buys time. We’ll tell you which one you’re looking at before we quote anything.
A single-paver repair takes about half a day on site. A section repair covering 50 to 100 square feet usually takes one to two days, including base work and re-sanding. A full driveway replacement in Riverside runs three to five days depending on access and how much old base has to be hauled out. We’ll give you a window in writing before we start, and a live person answers our phone day and night if you need to reach us.
We stock the most common Tremron paver sizes and color blends for Riverside driveways, including 80mm Stonecrest and Holland units in the gray and brown blends we see most often in the Arlington and Canyon Crest areas. If we don’t have your exact color on the truck, we can order it and have it on site within a week, which is still faster than a homeowner ordering a partial pallet themselves. Call (341) 895-1170 to confirm we have your match.
We also work with parts and finishes for KraftMaid cabinetry, Cambria quartz countertops, and Silestone surfaces when a paver project leads to a driveway-to-front-door refresh. It’s not unusual for Riverside homeowners to handle the driveway and the entry walk at the same time.
